Internship Summary:
Join The Frost Group as a Political Fundraising Intern and become a valuable part of the team, contributing to various essential tasks. This internship offers hands-on experience in research, virtual event planning and staffing, client support, database management, and general administrative office duties. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with professionals in the field, gaining practical experience in the realm of political fundraising.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and donor prospecting to support fundraising efforts.
- Assist in virtual event planning, logistics, and staffing.
- Prepare materials and aid in fundraising calls for clients.
- Manage and maintain client databases for effective record-keeping.
- Contribute to general administrative office duties as required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and professionalism.
- Prior fundraising experience is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite, especially Excel and Mail Merge Functions, NGP & ActBlue.
- Familiarity with Democratic Caucus members and Capitol Hill.
- Availability for a part-time or full-time commitment.
About The Supervisor:
Sophie Ryall joined the Frost Group in 2023. She came to DC from Chicago after working as Deputy Finance Director at Langenfeld & Associates. Here, she fundraised for numerous Illinois state officials and Chicago city council members. Previously, Sophie was the Finance Assistant for former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s campaign. She began her career in politics interning and volunteering for Democratic candidates across Chicago and the state of Arkansas. Sophie graduated Magna Cum Laude from DePaul University with a degree in Political Science and minors in Economics and German. She is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas.

Start and End Date:
Summer internships will take place during the period of June 10 - September 27 with specific dates to be determined by the employer partner and intern during the interview process.
Our team works in the office M-F 9am-6pm. Ideally, our intern would do the same.
