Description: The Institute of Politics is looking for a student intern to help keep our front office running smoothly, with a focus on supporting the new Director. This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and see how the Institute operates day-to-day.
Responsibilities include: -Preparing meeting briefers and donor materials -Assisting with event and meeting logistics -Drafting memos and readouts -Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Qualifications: =Strong writing and organizational skills. Prior experience drafting memos in a policy setting is helpful. -Proven ability to handle sensitive information with tact and maturity -Interest in politics, public policy, or related fields
Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate students. Note: First-year international students (both undergraduate and graduate) are not eligible. Application Deadline: December 8, 2025 (rolling review possible)
The intern will work at the IOP House (5707 S Woodlawn Ave) on the University of Chicago Campus. Selected candidate should expect to work in-person for all shifts.
