Internship Summary:
Join FedHall as a Government Affairs Policy Intern, offering students and recent graduates a firsthand, hands-on experience in government relations strategies and engagement with lawmakers. The internship aims to equip interns for entry-level policy positions by providing exposure to public policy advocacy, direct advocacy, strategic planning, coalition building, and navigating the federal regulatory environment.
Responsibilities:
Interns will be involved in a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
- Conducting public policy research
- Coverage of congressional hearings
- Client communications
- Drafting memos
- General administrative office duties
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Acute attention to detail and high level of professionalism
- Familiarity with the U.S.’ Senators, Members of Congress, and Capitol Hill operations.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus
