Overview of Organization:
The High School Law Review is a curriculum provider and developer whose mission is to bring students together to understand what it means to agreeably disagree. Through constitutional law writing and debate, students will learn to understand how others form their opinions and learn to listen and analyze views which differ from their own. The High School Law Review is dedicated to reaching a variety of high school communities ranging from district to district across the country.
Internship Summary:
The High School Law Review is looking for a summer intern to work on content and curriculum development. Such an experience would give an intern greater understanding of curriculum, communications, and education skills. Furthermore, such a role entails district outreach, development of constitutional law knowledge, and enhancing networking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tasks surrounding research and writing our curriculum, including worksheets, decks, and activities that correspond to U.S. Supreme Court cases.
- Prepare and write materials on debate, writing, and legal processes.
Qualifications:
- Students passionate about education and law.
- Comfortable or interested in learning about research, curriculum development, and communications tasks.
Location, Modality:
Our office is located in 29 Little W 12th St, New York, NY 10014. Our team works in a hybrid mode, with some staff working in-person and some working remotely.
Start and End Date:
The internship will start on June 9, 2025 and run until August 8, 2025.
