We provide roughly 300 fully-funded internships each year across the country and around the world. Students selected for summer 2025 internships will receive a $5,850 stipend (up from $5,500 in summer 2024!). We post “batches” of 20-30 IOP summer internships each month between December – April. Additionally, we provide students who already have a politics or public service internship but who are not receiving sufficient funding partial internship stipends to support their internships. IOP House Internships
The IOP is hiring our house interns for the coming 2025-26 academic year! Review our positions and apply here. IOP house interns assist each department with their work, help operate the IOP’s front desk, and serve as student leaders in the IOP community. House interns will gain experience in communications, event production, database management, community engagement and more.
