The Voting Power of Gen Z Realized: Is the Youth Vote Finally Making Inroads?

Hear from Representative Elissa Slotkin about the power of the young vote in her tight race for reelection in Michigan last November, and what that portends for 2024. IOP student leader Estrella Hernandez will lead a conversation between the congresswoman and Gen Z voting activist Victor Shi – who was the youngest elected delegate for Joe Biden in 2020 – and Jack Lobel, a spokesman for Voters of Tomorrow, which worked closely on the 2022 Georgia U.S. Senate runoff in which Gen Z voters came out more than their millennial peers.
