The Institute of Politics welcomes Tony Fabrizio, a current IOP Pritzker Fellow and pollster to former President Donald Trump, and John Anzalone, pollster to President Joe Biden. Fabrizio and Anzalone will unpack the off-year elections in 2021 and tell us what to expect in the 2022 midterm elections that will determine which party controls Congress.
Fabrizio was chief pollster for President Trump’s 2016 and 2020 presidential campaigns and is recognized as one of the nation’s leading pollsters. Fabrizio is leading IOP seminars during the fall 2021 academic quarter focused on the 2022 elections, what drives the GOP base, and how polling has changed.
Anzalone is the chief pollster to President Biden and is recognized as one of the nation’s top pollsters and messaging strategists. As a pollster, he has helped elect U.S. senators, governors, dozens of members of Congress and numerous other office holders up and down the ballot.
Moderating this discussion is IOP Advisory Board Member Karen Tumulty. Tumulty is Deputy Editorial Page Editor and columnist for The Washington Post.
