The University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics (IOP) is pleased to announce a live taping of “The Axe Files” podcast with former President Barack Obama on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018. “The Axe Files” podcast, hosted by David Axelrod, is produced out of the University of Chicago Institute of Politics and co-sponsored by CNN. The event is open to University of Chicago students only and closed to press. The conversation will focus on the 10-year anniversary of former President Obama's historic election in 2008, his and Axelrod's shared experiences on the campaign, and his current work, including the Obama Foundation and his dedication to civic leadership and community engagement.
