Join the IOP as we welcome former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg for a conversation about his historic run for president, the Democratic party’s effort to unite its voters and defeat President Trump, and the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This program will be moderated by IOP Director David Axelrod. In the past year, Buttigieg catapulted into the national spotlight, rapidly rising from holding the office of Mayor of South Bend, Indiana to a remarkable Iowa caucus victory. Since suspending his presidential campaign in March, he has turned his attention to founding Win the Era, a new PAC that aims to elect young progressives in down-ballot races as part of an agenda of “generational change.”
