What is the practical and possible future of the Middle East in the view of two men who are among the many who have lost so much? Magen Inon - an Israeli educator and peace activist who lost both of his parents in the October 7 terrorist attack - and Aziz Abu Sarah, a Palestinian peace activist whose older brother was tortured by Israeli forces and died, will outline their shared - and distinct - visions for peace in the Middle East and strategically what are the steps towards that end. Moderated by IOP Executive Director Zeenat Rahman. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact iopevents@uchicago.edu.
