IOP Pritzker Fellows Aziz Abu Sarah & Magen Inon on "A Union Forged Through Pain: An Israeli & Palestinian Press Ahead Together" THIS SEMINAR IS OPEN TO CURRENT UCHICAGO STUDENTS ONLY Wednesday, January 15 12:30-1:45pm How did Magen Inon - an Israeli peace activist and educator who lost both of his parents in the October 7 terrorist attack - and Aziz Abu Sarah, a Palestinian peace activist whose older brother was tortured by Israeli forces and died, find one another in the dark space? The two have joined forces against personal and political odds to promulgate peace over revenge and reconciliation over hopelessness in their region and begin to work. What in their respective personal experiences led to their current work? Pritzker Fellows seminars are off the record and open to current UChicago students only. Seating in the IOP Living Room is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact Sarah Palmisciano (spalmisciano@uchicago.edu).
