IOP Fellow Lynn Sweet on "Equity & the Convention Economic Impact in Chicago" THIS SEMINAR IS OPEN TO CURRENT UCHICAGO STUDENTS ONLY Monday, March 25 12:30-1:45pm A key promise by Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison was that the economic impact of the convention would flow to Chicago’s 77 community areas – a very high, perhaps unrealistic, bar to meet. In this seminar, we’ll take a look at the outreach being made to up the odds that the vendors and venues come from Chicagoans who need the business the most. Pritzker Fellows seminars are off the record and open to current UChicago students only. Seating in the IOP Living Room is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
