Join us for a student discussion with AI ethics pioneer Liz O'Sullivan, the first Technology Director at the Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (STOP) and cofounder/VP of Responsible AI at AI explainability company Arthur. O'Sullivan made headlines when she resigned from the computer vision company Clarifai and publicly spoke out against autonomous weapons. She brings hard-won insights from building, monitoring, and regulating high-risk AI systems, navigating the tensions between technological advancement and ethical responsibility in areas like military applications, evaluations, and governance frameworks. Breakfast will be served.
