Institute of Politics

Are you considering a career in public service, but aren’t sure where to start?

Let us help jumpstart the process! Sign up for our crash-course on careers in politics and public service. Ask all of your burning questions and get the inside scoop on careers in public service directly from former interns and professionals. We'll have mentors from a diverse array of fields, including political consulting, campaigns, non-profits, elected offices, government, media, and think tanks. Come along on Friday to "speed-network" with employers and alumni, unearth action-packed career opportunities, and get a realistic look at daily life in an assortment of political fields. Bring your resumes and cover letters for a review from our Career Development team to ensure you are application-ready for your perfect role.

Career Development and Practitioner in Residence workshops are off the record and open to current UChicago students only. Seating in the IOP Living Room is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
