Join the IOP Career Development team for an honest, casual conversation with Opal Vadhan, Senior Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris and former IOP Fellow. This midpoint internship check-in is designed as a judgment-free space for students interning in Chicago this summer to reflect on their experiences so far, ask questions, share wins, talk through challenges, and hear how their peers are navigating their own internships. We will discuss questions such as: "How are things going with your supervisor?" "Is the workload manageable, overwhelming, or somewhere in between?" "How are you getting along with your colleagues and team?" "What has been surprising, frustrating, or rewarding?" "What are you still trying to figure out?"

Bring your questions, your wins, your worries, and anything you would like to discuss. This will be a supportive space to share what is working, troubleshoot what is not, and think about how to make the most of the rest of your summer internship experience.

Career Development workshops are off the record and open to current UChicago students only. Seating in the IOP Living Room is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
