Internship Summary:
Joining Magnify Strategies as an intern offers a unique chance to collaborate directly with the firm's co-founders on a wide array of client projects, spanning political campaigns, nonprofit development, and public affairs. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the realm of political consulting and advocacy, working alongside seasoned professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
- Compile daily news reports relevant to Magnify clients.
- Conduct in-depth research projects to support client initiatives.
- Create various written materials, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and other written content as needed.

Qualifications:
- Highly organized and motivated individual.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interest in political campaigns, advocacy, and public affairs.

About the Supervisor:
Aaron Cartwright is an accomplished operations specialist with a track record of success in managing budgets, coordinating staff efforts, and overseeing special projects for US Senator Tammy Duckworth's office. He further demonstrated his expertise by directing a $16 million budget and leading HR and IT support programs during Duckworth's 2022 re-election campaign.

Location and Modality:
This internship will be mostly remote with 6 in-person touchpoints throughout the summer. Magnify Strategies does not have an office, but a number of our client offices are based in or near the Loop.

Start and End Date:
The internship will run from June 10 to September 27, with the flexibility to accommodate specific scheduling needs.
