Seminars
“Trump &Congress: What Lies Ahead & Inside Trumpism”
While on campus, Robert Costa will examine the direction of the GOP under the Trump administration in several seminars and a public panel on the future of the Republican Party.
Costa will share insights on the political and personal dynamics that are shaping the relationships between Trump's White House and congressional leaders. How do key figures like Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon fit in that world? What about Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer? How does ideology shape Trump's agenda and what does that mean for the future of Republican legislation, and how congressional leaders are framing their priorities?
Costa sits down with Corey Lewandowski, former Campaign Manager for Donald Trump, to discuss the rise of Trump, his time at the helm of the Trump campaign, and what lies ahead for the Trump presidency.
