Women in Public Service Program (WPSP)
The Women in Public Service Program (WPSP) recognizes the unique pasts, passions, and promise of the women in our cohort and aims to inspire and empower undergraduate women at the University of Chicago to pursue careers in public service, while building a strong peer network to support each other along the way. Beyond campus, WPSP cohort members seek to increase gender parity throughout public service positions worldwide and enable other populations of women to achieve their aspirations. WPSP is composed of women from all years and majors at the University and we cherish the diversity of interests and skills in our cohort provides. We encourage anyone interested in issues of women’s rights and/or women’s leadership to get involved!
Every winter, WPSP runs a Leadership Institute that provides training, mentorship and support to women interested in public service. Applications to join the 2017/18 cohort will open in the Fall 2017.
