CHICAGO – The University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics (IOP) is pleased to announce a live taping of “The Axe Files” podcast with former President Barack Obama on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018.
“The Axe Files” podcast, hosted by David Axelrod, is produced out of the University of Chicago Institute of Politics and co-sponsored by CNN. The live taping will take place 11:30a-12:30p CT at the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts on the campus of the University of Chicago. The event is open to University of Chicago students only and closed to press. Tickets to the taping are free and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis via Eventbrite on Friday, Nov. 9, at 12p CT.
The episode with former President Obama will be posted upon the event’s conclusion at http://axefilespodcast.com and can also be found on Apple Podcasts and other podcast platforms. The conversation will focus on the 10-year anniversary of former President Obama’s historic election in 2008, his and Axelrod’s shared experiences on the campaign, and his current work, including the Obama Foundation and his dedication to civic leadership and community engagement.
